The Barbeque and YOU ... Recipes, stories - good and bad....
5/23/2009 at 7:00 PM
Well today was certainly a breakout day in terms of warm weather.
What are your favourite BBQ recipes?
Is there a BBQ God or Goddess in your home?
Have you ever singed your eyelashes or face or had an accident with your gas BBQ?
What are your all time favourite BBQ dishes?
Do you remember Kingsford Briquets and the electric lighter OR before that...your Dad dousing the Briquets with gasoline before perfecting your burgers before he set wooden matches to the coal?
Do you remember the Hibachi sensation? Everyone HAD to have one at that time in the 1970's.
The Barbequeing experience is always a unigue one, from burnt and charred ribs and chicken, or worse yet, underdone food or even worse a houseful of company when the gas runs out. Better yet, a fantastic roast twirling away on the rotisserie or a great rack of ribs and chicken wings.
Did you ever purchase a new BBQ to build it yourself and after 3 hours wondering why you never paid the $20 assembly fee?
It would be great to share great recipes, good tips and...well..bad experiences in your barbequeing career.
