Pizza Ordering
7/25/2009 at 12:38 AM
Tonight I ordered a pizza from my usual favorite restaurant with the following instructions: "Can I order a "large pepperoni pizza".And on side can I get onions and pineapple, just the peperoni on the other."
The girl said OK and read off the total and then told me how long it would be. She did not repeat the instructions back which I thought was odd but also thought nothing of it at the time.
When the pizza arrived it was made wrong. I called back to let them know that and immediately was told that wasn't what I ordered. When I repeated the order again they proceeded to tell me I ordered wrong, with many excuses, and finally, she went to get someone else on the line, not by my reccomendation either, who CLAIMED to be the owner.
This person became very rude to me as I explained the order to him and told me that his staff never ever make mistakes and that the customer is ALWAYS wrong. I replied the customer is right and if she had repeated the order there wouldn't have been a problem (I never have ever had a problem with this place ever before). He replied that this person was well known to him and never makes mistakes(everyone makes mistakes). He also proceeded to tell me that customers to nedd to learn how to order pizza's.
After unsuccesfully trying to convince him that the order was wrong I said I wouldn't be ordering from there any more. He then told me if I brought the pizza back that he would replace it. (P.S. I had it delivered for a reason). I told him I wasn't looking for a new pizza, that we already started eating cause we were hungry and already had waited a long time for this one. I just wanted to let them know they messed up.
He got very rude at this point and thats when I told him from now I'll order from????????. He said that's your perrogative and hung up.
My question to you out there is what kind of pizza would you have made me.Please describe in detail.
I really am appalled at this ""owner" and if anyone wishes to know who it is write me @ pussorboots@yahoo.ca, I'll gladly tell you.
P.S. I NEVER EVER ASKED FOR A NEW PIZZA THROUGHTOUT THE WHOLE CALL.
