peanut free school snack ideas

We need to provide mid-day peanut free snacks for our kindergartener. Aside from fresh fruit (which he already adores) does anyone know any other suggestions? We also have Mr Christie snack packs that are labeled 'peanut free' but am going blank on other stuff.
He also is fanatical about yogurt but that would spoil in a backpack. He likes poptarts and homemade cookies. But we need to get a year of variety that I could rotate. How are those fruit cups?
