Does anyone have a blender they would recommend that doesn't wimp out when crushing ice?  
 
I haven't really started my search again after recently buying one that unfortunately had to be returned. Despite the 'Perfect for Making Smoothies!' claim, it was a dud in that department unless you have 10 minutes to work at it.  
 
I don't really plan to use a blender for much, other than smoothies, so I have considered looking at the Magic Bullet. Any experience with these?  
I like the fact that they don't take up a lot of space in the cabinet.  
 
If anyone has any experience or opinions, I would certaionly appreciate it!
