That's the problem when you don't do any advertising people never think to go there and they end up closed. Same thing happened to La Rive.

Got a great endorsement from Dennis Quad and his film crew in today's Brandon Sun. Said it was the best restuarant in Brandon and has "real Mexican food".
How's that for free advertising? Nice.

Also had supper tonight. Wife and I shared two combos as well plus two drinks. Was under $40 with tip. Portions were good and flavor as well. Had Tibs which had just the right amount of spice. Wife had Kitfo. Comes out on injera and like traditional Ethiopian style you eat with your hands. That includes your salad. A little different but fun to try. You can ask for utensils if you want.

Wonderful tasty food and a very gracious hostess who topped up the servings. I will certainly be going back.

I went in there the other day and the owner gave me a take out menu, they seemed nice and people were eating there and looked like good food!!

Will give it a go soon!!

I went there last week, it was amazing!!!! The food was delicious and flavourful, the lady working there even came up and showed me the right way to eat it! It was a great experience. And I would definitely go back, and recommend to anyone that they try it!!!

Tana Ethiopian Restaurant Review

Today we went for a very early supper. Hubby had the Doro Tibbs (chicken) & I had the Tana Mix (a mix of quite a few menu items). The food is fresh, tasty & very filling. You can ask for the food to be dished up family style where everything is served on one platter, which is fun. The Ethiopian tea is lovely & fragrant. The whole meal, which was almost more than we could eat, was $30. Outstanding flavour and value!
