Noticed that it is all boarded up but no signs up as to what is going on.
Is it closed down or are they just renovating?

Or did someone drive into it?

It is a Chinese place, most of them are closed on Tuesday

I didn't take a picture while I was there, but by "boarded up", I mean sold walls were built floor to ceiling around the entire storefront, much like they do when renovating normal stores inside the mall.

A bit overkill for being closed on a Tuesday.
I just found it odd that there we no signs up stating what was going on.

Are you talking about Sizzling Wok in the Shoppers Mall or about Ken's Chinese Restaurant on 18th Street (near Dominos)? Someone drove thru Ken's a week or two ago... So it could still be boarded up. But I haven't seen them open for awhile previous to that.

The fact that the heading of this thread is Sizzling Wok (Mall Chinese) one would think they are talking about the Sizzling Wok in the mall, not Ken's on 18th???

I too hope they are not closing, best sesame chicken in Brandon.

Sizzling wok has been there for years. Really doubt they are closing...probably just renovating

A ton of noise going on behind the boards (hammering et all). I've reached out to the Mall for comment. Based on avail info, out of fairness I'd start with the assumption Sizzling Wok is renovating and temporarily closed during that process. I'll update if I learn anything more unless someone else beats me to it!

That was quick! Hit post on the last message, checked my inbox and Shoppers Mall Brandon has told me that Sizzling Wok is closed for renovations and are expected to re-open by the end of the week!
