Freezing sour cream...need advice!

I've made a lemon cheesecake bar for the holidays. Without thinking I added the sour cream topping (mixture of sour cream and icing sugar). If I freeze this,then thaw it,will the sour cream separate and look gross? Or will it be fine. Ive done a bit of research and sour cream separates and doesn't have the same texture as before it was frozen, however, that's for using it as a topping for potatoes or something. Should I try to scrape it off? Or start over? Any advice would greatly be appreciated!
