Just curious if anyone else ate at a popular fast food restaurant on the hill on Tuesday February 23 and became ill. We picked up burgers around 5:30pm and coincidentally my husband and I fell ill within hours of each other. The kids who got something else, were fine.

There is lots going around right now, but sounds like food poisoning to me just based on timing and circumstance. Hopefully it wasn't an ill employee who prepared your food and passed a bug on to you.  
 
People just aren't as careful as they need to be. I see way to many things like food recalls due to contamination, which sometimes makes you think twice when grocery shopping, and just knowing that there are a lot of people in the food industry that are not there to take their jobs seriously makes me nervous sometimes when eating out as well. People also don't care enough to stay home when ill, or keep their children home either, which makes spreading things so much easier.  
 
If you choose to work in a food establishment, please take your job seriously, and be very careful with food handling and prep. It really doesn't take much to contaminate food or have it spoil.
