Does anybody know if this is available in Brandon? I've seen coconut oil in many places, but never "refined". I'm looking at it for cooking options, but first as a protectant for butcher block.

Two Farm kids used to sell unrefined coconut oil. I think they still do. They pack it themselves. It is not marked as virgin coconut oil. You most likely won't find it marked as refined, just "coconut oil".  
 
Refined may be good for your butcher block as it will not go rancid, but using it for cooking won't give any health benefits. For that purpose you need it unrefined. I also found that refined gave me a stomach ache, while the unrefined did not.

The Coconut oil that they pack themselves is for the high temperature of cooking, in particular, popping corn.  
 
They also carry various other, more expensive brands.  
 
They are not open on Sundays but I am sure Sylvia would be able to respond to an email.
