Peasant cookery, Kings head pub, smokes poutinerie , or shawarma khan which is my quick go to place.

My favourite places are Peasant Cookery (Better poutine than Smoke's) or King and Bannatyne. For beers, Yellow Dog or King's Head

Depends on your budget and ethnicity of food.
Icihiban - Japanese steak house
Tavern United at MTS centre not that far
Hermanos - Spanish food
Elephant and castle - British pub
King and bannatyne - traditional deli

In the end we found out Forks Market isn't far away and we decided to go to OSF as we've both been there before (I've been to the Winnipeg one and my dad has been to one in Toronto).
