where abouts?

hope they get a bit more buzz going, had no idea they were even going to open

Or did they close? I hop they didn't close for good: I normally go there 2 or 3 times a month.

I loved yellow sub but we go to the sub shop lots now. Fresh bread and the lady is super friendly. Yum yum

does this new restaurant have a name?

It has a long name and is in Spanish.

Love these ventures where folks from other cultures give a chance to taste something different. Stay tuned for menu... Sounds like they will send shortly.

I hope they may be able to provide a Facebook Business page and/or website as well, which would really be nice. Congrats to the owners and the fortitude it takes to open a business. I look forward to this.

"Pupuseria la bendición de dios" it's a new Latin Restaraunt, kind of like the one across superstore (Sabor Latino) but this one only sells pupusas (one of El Salvadors popular dishes). They have different kinds.

I am always up for trying something new, so glad it is an ethnic restaurant, not just another burger or pizza joint. Will check it out for sure.

It's La Bendicion De Dios on facebook. They are already open, I haven't been yet but from the looks of it on facebook they do have a few small tables to eat in and they do deliver for orders over $25. The menu is posted on their facebook page. Looks like they are open from 10am-9m  
 
This is not quite the same as Sabor Latino, which is a latin restaurant with food from several central american countries. This is specifically a Salvadorean restaurant, serving what looks like mainly pupusas. The pricing is very reasonable also.

Just stopped in to check it out. Sounds like you'd find Papuserias on just about every corner in El Salvador, am told the owner ran one previously back there. The "bendicion de dios" part of the name means "blessings from god."  
 
Have posted a pic of their in store menu to give an idea. Will post the full menu when it's ready to be posted. Quite tasty product. Maybe someone else has different ideas but I'd probably position them Somewhere between a Subway/Qdoba/Pita type of restaurant and maybe a Dominos/Caesars kind of pizza place. Definitely opportunity to sit in and eat, or can take out like I did. Should allow them a few minutes to make them.

My husband works with a guy from El Salvador that gets us authentic Papusas sometimes.  
 

.at those prices there is no reason for anyone not to go. I will defanitely go there my next trip to brandon. Wish this business the best in their new venture

Re pricing, just keep in mind that for most I imagine it would take more than one of them to make a meal... But still, I don't think you'd catch many people leaving feeling they overpaid.

Anyone hear how the Chilli Chutney is doing....Is that where this new one is now.............

Had supper there last night as a matter of fact... same mouth watering buffet that makes you want to eat til you hurt

My husband and I are going to walk over their to the new restaurant and try it out, sounds great!!

Its a corn tortilla stuffed with cheese, beans, pork, and served with tomato sauce and a type of vinegary coleslaw. Its not spicy but the coleslaw can be. Different types of pupusas have different stuffings.

Those are extremely cheap prices!! Hope they are successful

Stopped by yesterday for lunch. Tables were full. Ordered a couple different papusas and they were all quite tasty. The pickeled onions or whatever the garnish that goes with them is also very good. I'd say 3 make a meal. It took a little longer than I thought it would to get my meal, but I'd imagine that will get better with time. I will go back.

We went today and they are delicious! One each for a great snack or two/three for a meal.
