We have a rare opportunity to take some of our kids out for supper. The kids we'll have with us will range from ages 3 to 9.  
 
Besides the obvious (McDonald's, fast food, etc), what restaurants do your kids like? There's so many choices!

What kind of food do they like? My kids are big pizza lovers, and Marino's or Pizza express are our go to places for dine in or take out.  
 
When I was growing up, we were always more adventurous and loved things like the schnitzel house, or going to the Keg for lobster and crab. One of our kids is super picky and will stick mostly to the basics like chicken fingers or grilled cheese.  
Montanas is always a good kid friendly place with enough options for our whole family as well.

I suggest Boston Pizza. They have a pretty decent kids' menu, their meal i:ncludes dessert, and they give the kids a book and crayons with pictures and activities to keep them busy. And they have a deal right now where if you donate $5 to their kids' charity, you get 5 free kids' meals! Can't beat that. It's where the grandkids like to go.

They like Pizza Place because of the play structure, Boston Pizza for the kids menu, Alto's and Ye's for buffet.
