You need to be careful with those. If it's something really dense you can't just toss it into the crockpot without thawing it first, as it otherwise takes too long for the interior to reach a safe temp (like a big old chunk of meat, which is why you're generally supposed to put thawed ingredients into a slow cooker). Some ingredients also don't freeze well, such as raw potatoes.
But I've totally done freezer prep where I put everything in a bag and then it can be dumped into a slow cooker. My favourite is chili, where everything is cut up small and will come to temp quickly and then it's basically just simmering. I have the meat pre-browned before freezing. Boneless skinless chicken breasts work well too if you're going to cook them on high.
