Hello! I am wanting to start a thread about all the local grocery/dining/shopping/business's in Brandon. I am new and am very interested in only shopping local or through companies that are BCORP approved.  
 
Which grocery stores buy their food from local farmers?  
Which restaurants?  
Which business's do their best to give back to the community.  
 
Any input helps, thanks!

For any meat we go to Henry Meats on the #270 Highway. It's only about a 10 minute drive outside of the city and the meat quality is excellent, prices are good (better than most city grocery stores) and they have a nice selection of beef, pork, chicken and lamb.  
I highly recommend their pork apple burgers!  
They also get some unique seasonings and condiments, mostly European.

We have heard about Henry Meats. Sounds great!!!

It is my favorite hardware store in Brandon. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. They have many cute things in there...especially for little gift idea's.  
 
If I find something on their website I like, I just phone them with the part number to see if they have it in stock. If they don't, I just order it online, goes direct to Home Hardware, free shipping and they give you a call when it arrives.

We are part of a group of farm families who have an online ordering system for their locally and humanely raised products. We deliver to Brandon on the last Saturday of every month. Awesome, Thanks for the reply's. I am assuming there will be no produce until winter is over? I checked out the website and did not see any. Anyone know of local produce being sold anywhere?
