I am just looking for ball park costs for weddings around Brandon. More specifically- what is an average price for supper plate/buffet per person. As well I am curious to know the average floral costs- such as cost of bride's bouquet and boutineers.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I will be along shortly, but I'm thinking you might need more detail.  
 
For example, are you looking for having a sit down dinner at a hotel or buffet, because those are very different costs. Or are you looking for a hall + caterer? Also, there's usually discounts if you're having "off season", or at least there was many years ago when I got married (a friend got married the January after us, and she got 15% off her bill for having it in January!).  
 
Bouquets will depend on flowers. Real or silk? Roses or lilies? How big? How small? What time of year?  
 
You might be better figuring out what you want and/or your budget, then phoning a few places to see what that money will get you.

PLEASE tell me where I can find someone to do a supper for $15 a plate? Because I can't find anything less than $25.

I know Sokol hall was $15 a plate for 2 of their menu choices. We had a hotel cater ours off site.

Out of Souris but work all over. We used them. Fantastic food. Lots of compliments and well under 25$. It was a few years ago but I think prices started at 14$/pp.

In Virden is less than $20/plate and is amazing food! More meats obviously cost more money. But even with travel they would be less than $25/plate. They include dessert as well with their pricing.

Does anyone have first hand experience with wedding at the commonwealth air museum ? Or have other suggestions for wedding venues in Brandon ?

We are getting married at our home and have hired a caterer. We are letting Kumfort Kitchen handle feeding our guests and are paying around $20 per person. After taxes, gratuity, servers, having a bartender for the night, etc, our final bill will be a little under 3k for approximately 110 guests.  
 
Still working on flowers but using a florist in carberry and it looks like roughly $500-$700 for all (bride, bridal party, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, etc)

We cut down on our costs by doing a tapas night. (appetizers) Komfort Kitchen catered and did a fantastic job and it worked out to $18 per person. That included plates and servers.  
We cut down on floral costs by making the bouquets from fake flowers. I know that sounds tacky but they looked fantastic (although my Auntie is a florist and she put them together) and they can be put together months ahead of time. Consider buying flowers or filler flowers from places like Costco and doing table pieces yourself. Chrysanthemums are cheap, smell great, and look fantastic in a small table arrangement. It is extra work that day but will save you a heap of money.

Have you tried talking with Diane or Doug at Shady Lane Tea Room? They are situated just outside of Brandon. They cater to weddings right on their property and do an awesome job. Their phone # is 728-1245.

The Legion has a large hall and the food is cooked on site as they have a commercial kitchen - costs are reasonable as the food is cooked by volunteers - usually you can arrange to decorate the hall the day before - many couples have their wedding reception at the Legion. Call and ask about costs and availability.

I would highly recommend Old Style Butcher Shop 204-725-0818. The food was amazing they cook on sight from their truck it's buffet style and steak was $15.95 Chicken was $13.95 tax included. It also comes with sides included in the price and other side options for a decent price like perogies. It's so reasonable I pay way more then that at a restaurant and the food was better! They have other meat options also that's just what we did at our wedding this past July.

We had 175 guests. Food costs for an appetizer meal $5000. This did not include dishes.  
 
Our floral costs would have been $10,000 retail. This included all floral arrangements for bridal party and family, floral centerpieces and candle holders etc, wall draping, table and chair linens.

Sokol hall is NOT $15 per plate, they range between $19-24 per plate. Plus an additional $2 per plate for perogies. The midnite lunch is an additional $9/plate.
