    Lakes with good fishing conditions

    I was wondering if anybody could suggest some lakes in the area that are decent for fishing right now. It's algae bloom season and I don't want to go to a lake that looks like pea soup.

    Has anyone fished the Assiniboine close to the 18th st bridge in queen Elizabeth park? I fished that spot for years and caught some big ones but haven't been down there since the floods. Are there bad snags there?
