Hello Techies:
I am considering on purchasing a dashcam. Any suggestions of types/brands or options?
Is there a dashcam that records both forward as well as interior? Definately want good audio and video resolution.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Check TV city. Yes dash cams record both. If you buy one make sure there is lots of memory options and works decent at nite. Some loop. As in record over themselves to save storage. The last one I looked at used a 10 minute loop. That is not long enough in my opinion.

i bought this brand at Best Buy, was the cheaper brand. I got the best Papago cam they had, it has wider camera view and has option to add another cam for the back. Major reason i bought best one of this brand is that it has the best memory and a longer loop (cant remember how much time). It will record if someone bumps into my car and records always when im driving ... i love it !!

The bigger the memory card the longer the loop in any model you buy.

Most I’ve seen use a micro sd card. I take mine out to put into my pc when I want to view the video. I’ve replaced my sd card twice in about four years when my dash cam stopped working. They must wear out from looping. Another tip is to hook your dash cam to keyed power so it automatically turns on and off with your car.

Available at amazon.ca. Been using it for 3 years. Zero complaints! I have hooked 5 friends up with one and they love it! Costs between 90-135 Canadian. Thank me later.

They’ve got a huge selection and very helpful with any questions and will find you a dash cam to fit your requirements.

We use Arlo cameras, you need special Lithium 123 batteries in them but have had ours outdoors for last 2 yrs and never had problems in winter. Got the four of them at Best Buy. The batteries do not last that long but found them alot cheaper when shopping down in US Sorry to get off topic of dash cams just wanted to address the security camera issue

dashcam with app and WIFI

We have 2 dashcams for both our vehicles. Both off Amazon.
I recommend getting them with wifi, and app off google play or App Store.
This way, you can pull video right off your camera, to your device.
No need to remove memory card, or anything like that.
Easy peasy.
