Although I have herd of ways to save Gas while driving I have never actually herd it called by this term.
Some of the common ways to save gas while driving are:
Avoid sudden starts and stops.
Use your cruise control when ever possible.
Avoid using your brakes when safely possible.
Never exceed the speed limit.
Minimise air conditioner use, drive with window open.
Some dangerous ways to save gasoline consumption:
Following close behind semi-trucks.
Drive way below the speed limit.
Make sharp curves at high speeds.
Coasting down hills with the engine off.
Running red lights or stop signs in areas of low traffic.
