Is there anywhere in brandon or the surrounding area that rents boats? Looking for one for august long but realize that may be late for that this year but would even be nice to line up for next year but cant seem to find anyone who does this? TIA for help!

You can rent them at Clear Lake, to be used there. I have not seen where you can rent and take them where you want though. Hope you can find something!

That's kinda where I'm at. For the few times a year I may use one of my own I would prefer to just rent for a few days a year!

Have you found any fishing guides for the specific lake you are hoping to fish?  
 
The only reason I am asking is because in Roblin MB the owner of Patch's Bait & Tackle is both a guide and rents out boats, maybe asking a local guide would be a good place to start, a local guide is likely to know another local who rents boats or depending on how much money you're willing to spend it might be easier to find a guide then an actual boat rental depending on the lakes you're hoping to target.  
 
I've seen guided packages as low as $350 and as high as $800 per day, but this all depends on the lakes and the fishing guide in question.
