What's this called? -Car Option Question

So, this is bugging me, since I started to try to think what this is. Anyone who can help is greatly appreciated!
There was an option on vehicles a while ago (or at least it was popular on sport versions of vehicles a few years ago), where your meters on your dash (speedometer, tachometer, gas gauge, etc) would have a white background, instead of the normal black background. There was a fancy term for it, either in regards to the material it was made from (my mind is telling me some sort of metal like a titanium gauges, or something like that), or something else to do with it. We just saw it in a van we looked at a couple of days ago, and it's been bugging me ever since. Anyone got any ideas for what that option was called? Please? Someone let my mind rest!
