Where do Jeep wrangler owner go for your oil change? That you can trust for the right type of oil needed.

Depending on the year of Jeep, the 2015 manual says 5w20 either Mopar, Pennzoil or Shell. You could either go to one of the two Jeep dealers here in town, or buy your own oil and take to one of the drive throughs. Not sure if any of the drive through oil change places use Shell or Pennzoil if that's what your Jeep should have. Read your owners manual, it should tell you the oil to use.

I think some of the high mileage oils have the correct rating and zinc so you don't trash the cam shaft

I go to Canadian Tire, get synthetic oil and a filter and change it in my garage. Lots of room under there. One thing to note is the only reason they use 5w20 oil is to pass fuel consumption ratings. Some of the lifter noise or rattling you hear is from the lightweight oil . 5W30 is fine and gets rid of the noise.

Sounds like you truly care about the maintenance of your Wrangler, yet don't want to get hosed at the shop for an oil change, paying top dollar for decent oil.
