    Hi All,  
     
    I'm looking for a few 3-4 foot lengths of the round hydro type poles to roll vehicle frames on and off the trailer with my winch. The thicker the better preferably 1 foot or a bit wider in diameter. I'm just not sure where to buy them or where hydro gets them or disposes of the old poles.  
     
    I've inquired around town with no luck. willing to pay some cash. thanks in advance.

    I believe you could inquire during the week Monday through Friday at Manitoba Hydro. They have a Pole Yard East of Brandon on Victoria Ave. East. They have a Stores Dept, and you could call 204-727-9300, and they'll direct your call to the Stores Dept. They handle "New" & "Used" Poles, as I believe they still sell used poles, & could help you with what you require.

    They used to sell used ones for a dollar a foot but lately they've just given them away for free since they have so many, at least they were in virden.
