Trans Canada Highway by Griswold. Does anyone know why the traffic is backed up on this highway?

On my way in this morning I saw 2 semi's in the centre ditch just past the Douglas turn off.

Everything is ice coated with ice. Everywhere.

This is the classic "If you don't have to go out, don't". Highways needs to plow, sand, icemelt.

I was looking at going from Dauphin to Winnipeg this morning and cancelled. Basically everything was ice covered ice. The last update was considerably better, but, too late to go.

#10 south and #2 west to souris this morning was pretty bad, lots of slush and drift mounds that felt like speed bumps.

#250 from souris to alexander was worse than #2 was, the transcan from alexander to brandon was pretty clear just wet.

It's very wet and almost icy out there. I tried and turned around, too many big trucks and SUVs in a hurry passing by. Everyone be careful driving the posted speed limit is a) a suggestions and b) a limit.
