    So I accidentally ripped the plug in from my car, and so I am needing to replace it. I checked Canadian tire and they don't have the right replacement plug-in. Is there any other place in town that would do it beside my dealer? (Murry chev). Tia

    Did it rip right from the block heater or just then end of the cord? If just the end buy a replacement end and install it. Might only need something like this...

    If this is a GM vehicle it probably has a cord with a built in thermostat , it would have to be replaced with the proper cord or the computer will be confused and send out warnings of overheating etc.  
    They are pretty costly , over a hundred dollars.

    The whole cord must be replaced, as it has the thermostat in it.... *sigh* of course this has to happen now
