What to do with that old car?

My '99 Pontiac Grand Am is sitting in the driveway with parking insurance. It has low mileage, the body is great, but it has a few problems that I just don't feel are worth the investment.
I heard that there was a company in Brandon (in Manitoba, anyways) that will pay you $500 and take your beater away.
Anyone know about this?
