Selling used auto

I sold saftied auto ,this person had some trouble first night of owning and decided to cancel cheque and deal, was willing to help fix auto.Now I am having to fix auto,reregister and maybe saftied auto again. Should this personbe responsible for any costs. Sellers form was as is

Vehicle was sold as is they know there is a risk when buying used. I would take it to court.

If you signed over ownership and the buyer signed the purchase form as is, legally it is their vehicle. If they cancelled payment that is theft. Take to court if they don't reconsider paying for the vehicle.

Take a cheque! Bank draft or cash only.
Purchase was as Is, buyer beware.

Never take a personal cheque!

Get the paperwork back on the car
fix it, sell it, move on
takes time to take it to court
Sometimes it is just easier.
And you learn from your past.
