Hooked up to our trailer today and had no signal lights on the right side of trailer. Checked fuses and everything was fine. Checked fuse box with a amp meter and I am not getting power to the right trailer fuse. And idea what would cause this circuit to be dead? Would the flasher module do this?

I have an 03 haven't had that particular problem but I have noticed there seems to be circuits with multiple relays links fuses etc.  
 
Also my Haynes manual says there's no lift pump, but there's a relay for the lift pump, no power to it, and truck doesn't run. Maybe the engineers only worked on Mondays and Fridays.

You could have a broken wire or wires under the truck box or trailer. Likely the truck. Anything exposed to the elements will eventually break.

I have done a few wiring jobs and always thought it was a problem on the power side, but 90% of the time it turned out to be a poor ground connection somewhere. On trailers there is often just a screw from the light fixture into the tin siding, which in turn is eventually connected to the ground somehow. Start by turning the ground screw in and out to break the rust. If that doesn't work try running a ground wire directly to the frame temporarily to see if that works.

chevs have 2 fuse boxes.  
One under the dash left hand side, and another inside the engine compartment left hand side.  
Go to Princess auto and you can purchase a 7 pin rv tester for your truck which i have, you can then check turn signals, lights, and brake lights. Also you can have a 4 pin flat tester.  
These things make it quick to check the vehicles circuit.

Thanks for the help but it's strange. There is no power to the fuse in the fuse box itself. I was hoping it would be easy fix but might have to take it in

So if u use a test light or voltmeter do u have power at the truck plug and if u don't u will have to trace the wire back to the front of the truck and if u do then follow the trailer wiring back to the trailer fuse box.

You will only get power to this fuse as the turn signal lights are flashing..... A test light would be flashing on and off or a voltmeter would show voltage on and off as the signals flash. I''m assuming the right rear signal is working on the truck , but not the trailer? If this is true and you are getting no power that right trailer fuse when the signals are flashing, then it is either a bad connection from the turn signal switch (multifunction switch) to this fuse or a defect with actual turn signal switch. Id have to find a wiring diagram to verify this, but this is what I'm thinking. Take that fuse right out and test whether there is power there on and off on one of the fuse terminals as the signals are flashing.
