I have recently noticed a lot of the isps including Westland Communications Group are deploying carrier grade Nets meaning people share a public IP address with others, has anybody been having issues with this etc with different gaming platforms Playstation Xbox?

This is due to IP4 addresses being used up. There is a finite number of such addresses and with IoT and the proliferation of internet devices we are close to the limit. Until IP6 becomes the norm, CGNat will be the work around.  
 
I noticed this too when I was suddenly unable to access some web based services I was hosting. I got around it by setting up some CloudFlare tunnels. I don't know if a tunnel would solve your gaming issues.  
 
I understand you can get a public IP from Westman for an additional monthly fee. I was quoted $4.95. The CloudFlare tunnels were free on their basic tier and solved my problem so I passed on paying for a public IP.

I know they do have quite a lot of IP addresses already purchased I'm guessing that there's way more people all of a sudden subscribing now, I'm going to look into that cloud fire i need it more for remote accessing trough a VPN to my network. Thanks
