Being a wise consumer
Nov 3 at 12:10 PM
Robertson College is a private vocational institution, that is not recognized by any post-secondary institutions. What this means is that if you take a course from them and it serves a specific an immediate need you have, then that’s great. It’s may be expensive but it does for you what you wanted. For example, if you are starting your own business and you need to learn bookkeeping, then it makes sense. But, if you have future aspirations for attending ACC or BU, they will not give you any credit or advance standing for your Robertson courses. For example, if you wanted to be an accountant instead of a bookkeeper. Some employers are flexible regarding the qualifications of potential employees while others only hire those with recognized certificates or degrees. So, only you know what your purpose is, and you can achieve that by being a wise consumer.
