Anyone know what the deal is? They just sold but now the storefront in Brandon is showing Closed and Prairie Rose seems to have no staff, at least none of the previous staff. I hope nothing has happened, this is our go to place for meat in the city.

I've been following this thread and one on Facebook and nowhere does anyone state why they are closed. Some speculation, but nothing concrete. I was by there on Saturday, as I was headed to Sunny's for lunch, and discovered they were also closed. My lunch partner thought it was a mall issue but the convenience store was open.

There was just an announcement on Facebook from the new owners that they will be reopening soon.

Well that best secret has cost them money. Not everyone is on Facebook or has the desire. I have a few friends that went elsewhere. They could have put a sign up saying reopening on ????? and they would of waited.

A sign in the window would have been a great help to the customers who have been coming to that store for years. Communication is a good way to get your name and product out there. Lack of communication is a great way to lose your customers to another competitor. Maybe forever.

Not everyone is on Facebook but seems lots of businesses go that route.
Locally advertising like her on eBrandon would be an extra place for them to post.
