Now that BC has changed.

Saskatchewan already there.

Now Alberta has ended it.

Time for Manitoba to end it too

So all the West is no longer changing

As Alberta says. “To be inline with neighbouring provinces.

The time change does not bother me. BUT. If Manitoba was to stay the same time, I would support it if it stayed daylight savings so we have longer summer days. Our summers are short enough already.

with Beachguy , I feel it is not the big problem people make it out to be changing time. But if time change goes away I would prefer it to stay on daylight savings time

I like daylight savings. I prefer an hour longer of daylight in the evening.

I will never ever vote in favor of getting rid of it.

change anything!!!! Maintain the time changes, we all benefit from the changes more than we realized or want to admit. There is no way I want 4 am Sunrise in the summer.

Is just typical of the way the world is now. Everything is a knee jerk reaction to change the way things are. If this change goes through, people will want to change it back in 25 years because they think that sun going down too early is stupid. Leave it the way it is. I'm sure as hell not changing anything, even more so now that whiny Alberta wants things their way.

I'm for changing to be in line with the rest of the western provinces. It was introduced as a way to save energy back in the era of WW1 (more sunlight meant less artificial light burning up fossil fuels). Given that DST has also been shown to spike stress due to sleep disturbance (even at times being linked to heart attacks and stroke), i'de say it's time to drop it once and for all.

I don't care what Alberta wants. I'm more interested in saving even more undue burden on the health care system.

Daylight Savings time for me too

At least have a survey. Just because Kinew says he likes Standard time doesn’t mean rest of us do. One hour extra daylight in evening makes all the difference to our lifestyles.
