    They are getting bad again after the last rain that we had. Maybe the city needs to fog again?!

    I agree. Lately they have been very bad. It's hard to work outside without getting multiple bites! Can the city spray one more time? Please!

    The city said earlier they only had enough fog for 1 round. I'm not sure where Winnipeg and other cities get their chemical from, but why can't we get some too.  
    The mosquitoes are horrible right now though! Would be nice if it could get fogged so we can enjoy what is left of the warm weather.

    The city are not going to fog again. We were lucky they did this summer considering the last time was 4 years ago  
     
    The city cannot get the chemicals now

    I find it hard to believe that the city can't get any chemicals - every community other than the city of Brandon apparently can get chemicals and is spraying - sounds more like an excuse to me

    The surrounding communities that have sprayed recently were ordered to do so by the province due to West Nile concerns. Therefore, the supply is provided by the province, which has a stockpile.  
     
    If Brandon is spraying for nuisance mosquitos, it comes out of Brandon's supply, of which we only have 1 application left. If the province orders it for health concerns, they provide from their supply.

    Is there not another supplier? An alternative chemical?

    City counts are rising 
    Saturday at 2:13 AM
    According to CoB, the average count last weekend was over 700 with 1 trap well over 1000. If it keeps up we will hit the city’s requirement to fog.
