A few sample embeds to see what they look like within discussions.
When it was made official a few weeks ago that Kelly McCrimmon would be returning to the Wheat Kings for this coming season, the Wheat Kings put out a posting on Instagram among other places. I’m including that posting here by putting the Instagram link on the next line and letting the behind-the-scenes eBrandon code do the rest to make it look like this:
Yesterday the City put out information about the closure of the 8th street bridge. To include the info below that was posted on Facebook I just put the link of the posting into my eBrandon post and it automatically converted it into this:
(you could of course also link to the press release on the City website if available or to their content elsewhere online)
I don’t really use Pinterest, but here’s a quick piece of content I found after a Google search
Because Pinterest needs you to signup to view content it’s being included in this eBrandon feature on an experimental basis. If it makes viewing too awkward it will probably be taken out.
When Westjet announced the addition of a second flight to Brandon and it was discussed
here, it would be easy to include the reaction that the Mayor included in a short Twitter post by putting the link to the post and having it show up as this:
And to round it out, we already have the ability to include videos on the eBrandon videos tab and the right-hand column of discussions, but you can also include it within a post like I’ve done by pasting the website address of this video here:
If you’re curious, please feel free to use this thread to experiment with postings.
