Has this ever happened to you?

So I come home tonight after work, and the wife had made a pot roast, which was real good.
Now we have been married over 31 years and She always asks after making a meal..."so was it good?" or "I did good didn't I."
Well I always say yes dear it was great, or remind her that if I don't say anything negative then she should know it was good.
She goes tonight, "well you could at least say you liked it or it was good."
My son pipes up, "Mom I thought his farting was his was to say it was good and thanks!"
And thats all I got to say about that!
