Thoughts on the situation in Venezuela?

Crazy...in the platform of usual opinionators...odd and unusual silence. I feel ya tho. Strange days......

threatening other countries like Mexico to do the same. Then maybe Greenland and then maybe us. They essentially arrested him and are going to charge him under US laws.  
 
Maduro is an illegal President of Venezuela and is very corrupt. Yet a guy who has 34 felony convictions thinks he's better. A guy who is trying to stay in power by all means, gerrymandering, threatening civil discourse with armed enforcement and other thing dictators do to stay in power.  
 
I think they are going to make a "deal" to return him back to power only if Venezuela give the US the resources like oil. Or install a puppet leader who will do whatever trump wants.

Extremely scary on so many levels. I can see this escalating far beyond what anyone can even imagine.

said he wants' to control the Western Hemisphere and all the resources. Sounding like Imperial Japan and NAZI Germany now. He's already threatening to remove Claudia from Mexico. And all of those that support him are just covering their eyes and ears because they think he's perfect. They want him to be a dictator.  
 
Then online you see Canadians wanting trump to do the same here, remove Carney. They are posting on Pollieviere's posts and you know he's not going to tell them to stop it. These people and the MAGA people are they same types who support Maduro also.

We're talking about a corrupt leader who has used his position to pocket billions for himself, use his military against his own people and punish his political enemies and deny citizens democratic protections.  
And hey that Madura guy is pretty bad too.

Many people havent lived in Venezuela and it shows, I teach English as a second language to many venezuelans and all of them had to leave because of Maduro and his dictatorship, there are millions on the street celebrating that Maduro is gone, people are happy and hopefully the rest of the goberment gets removed of power so Venezuela can return to what it was 30 years ago before the leftist took over. Trump is the best president ever! We need a great leader like him here in Canada.

Maduro needed to go, everyone knows that, trump used that as the perfect excuse to go in there and take over their oil (80+% goes to china). The CIA wants to control the drugs that come out of there (they have a well publicized history of doing that around the world). And they want Greenland so they can control what Russia ships past them. Anyone that thinks this was done out of the goodness of their heart isn’t well informed. There are lots of corrupt leaders around the world, but just of no value to the usa.

I had left a pretty neutral post not long after the original, noting i did have opinions, just not ones I could say on eBrandon. It got deleted. How many other replies had the same happen to them?

the Honduran former President who was a drug dealer. The just hosted a war criminal at the White House. The things Maduro was doing in Venezuela is EXACTLY what trump want to do in the US!!!!  
 
Then the fact he's said ALL of the Western Hemisphere has to be controlled by him. Seems like he's learned that the continents of the Western Hemisphere are called the Americas, so now thinks he must be the President.
