Who has ripe tomatoes? I usually have some to enjoy in the second week of August but mine are just starting to blush. I do have some large tomatoes though.  
 
Peppers are growing like mad!

I have tons of tomatoes already, beautifully ripening on the wine - they seem to be spreading themselves out very well, I had to give my neighbor some a few days back though as too many turned red all at once.  
 
They are very tasty, but smallish this year.  
 
I only bought one jalapeno and I have had five peppers off it already with a new set of blooms on it now. They are not potent though, they are pretty tame this year.

My bush beans did well, they're mostly done. We were away for a week, so they got neglected and I don't think I'll get another bloom.  
 
Lots of tomatoes on the vine, but they aren't even getting light green yet.  
 
Raspberries did awesome, and my apple trees are doing very well. The apples should be ready any day now.  
 
My son's watermelon plant is loving this weather, LOL! We'll have at 3 melons, assuming they keep growing even once it cools down a bit. One is already 2-3 lbs!  
 
I found things went to seed very early this year - dill, cilantro, chives bloomed very early, etc. That with the wasps, I'm worried about the winter it's foretelling!

I have a ton of cherry tomatoes that are ripe on the vine, been eating them for the last week, and some of my Roma tomatoes are starting to ripen on the vine as well!!!  
 
Great year for my tomatoes!!!

Lots of peas, cucumbers, zucchini, swiss chard, and beans. Muskmelons are coming along well. Lots of tomatoes, but still all green. Lots of tomatillos but not very big yet. Corn blew over in a storm, only some of it is coming back so not sure how much there will be in the end. Potatoes and beets are slow. Carrots didn't come up well but the ones that did are good. Strawberries and cherries were pretty much no crop at all.

Been experimenting with a couple of apple varieties this year... Odyssey and Norkent. Just had a good-sized Odyssey off the tree and while texture was perfect (crisp but not too hard), you can tell they need more time before they get closer their true sweetness.  
 
Didn't completely believe it when I read that Odyssey were comparable in taste to Gala, but had a smaller one ripen at the bottom of the fruit bowl a couple weeks after picking earlier this year and was blown away by a taste that I didn't think was possible in this climate. Looking forward to Sept when the ones still on the tree should be ready to go!

Adam, how are your apples? Two of my trees took this year off, and the two with apples produced quite small apples.

First year for both trees, so thinking it'll be a few years before any meaningful kind of crop. Def happy with the sample each tree put out this year. Added a pic of an Odyssey. Big enough and sweet enough that I'd put it up against anything at the grocery store!

Very nice! I wish I knew what types of apples my trees are.

Is the middle apple the norkent adam? If yes where did you buy your trees if you remember? I believe that is the same as one of my trees that is about 35 years old and is near the end for it.

Mine also took this year off. The apple trees, crab apple trees, pear trees and my currant bushes! only thing I got this year was plums, and they are small **shrug** first time in the 8 yrs I have owned this place Hope it is better next year, I like having sliced apples in the freezer during the winter for pies and apple crisp.

Lost all 32, grown from seed, Dauphin and cherry tomatoes to hard frost in early June. 9 Prairie Pride, 12 Manitoba and 12 Early Girl plants were in the ground within 2 days after the frost. The Prairie Pride had fully ripe tomatoes by July 29 and were 80% harvested within 3 weeks. The Manitoba had fully ripe tomatoes the second week of August and were 90% harvested in 3 weeks. The Early Girl (new improved) had fully ripe tomatoes the second week of August. 30% of the picked Early Girls were tossed so far due to blossom end rot and 1/2 are still on the vine. Hoping most will finish this warm weekend. All plants were hard pruned mid August. Despite setbacks, canned 11 1/2 litres and gave away 20 + pounds. It's been my biggest harvest ever.
