Murray?s Fire Extinguishers is a well established company, serving Brandon and Southwestern Manitoba. We are searching for a qualified Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our expanding team. Duties would include conducting annual inspections, maintenance, and repairs on fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and kitchen fire suppression systems. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Some overtime hours may be required.
Qualifications:
? Experience: Certificates in Fire Extinguisher Technician, Kitchen Fire Suppression systems, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset but not a requirement. On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
? Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be willing to travel. A valid Class 5 licence and clean driving record is required.
? Work Ethic: Must be able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision as well as working well as a part of our team.
? Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
? Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
