Brandon and portions of Southwestern Manitoba woke up this morning to a thick blanket of fog, bringing visibility down to next to nothing in areas.
Select Manitoba Highways webcams showed conditions that would require one to travel with caution in effected areas. Driving within Brandon itself would see visibility reduced to less than whatâs typical. As can be the case when more extreme fog settles in in the area it creates for quite the scene from Brandonâs North Hill, as observed in the webcam on the eBrandon weather page.
Environment Canada in the early morning hours put in place a fog advisory, warning travelers to be prepared for areas of significantly reduced near-nil visibility. In the advisory its said that fog is expected to dissipate later this morning.
The current state locally can be monitored on the web cam image on the weather page.
