Original Green River Wyoming Fish Fossil
I picked this fish fossil up years ago at a fossil shop in SW Wyoming which sold Green River Formation fish fossils. This I remember is a Mioplosus . The stone is 7.5" long with the fish fossil itself being 6.5" It displays nicely and includes the metal stand shown. The Green River formations span a 5 million year period dating to between 53.5 and 48.5 years old and is one of the best fish fossil locations in the entire world.
