Pool Operator / Maintenance Worker

Hecla Resort located in the beautiful Hecla Provincial Park is a full service, year round resort offering exceptional service, made from scratch foods and a welcoming atmosphere for our Guests. Our passion for hospitality and our commitment to Guest service starts with the people we employ.
We are looking for a Pool Operator/Maintenance Worker to join our TEAM. We pay a fair hourly wage, and have staff accommodations close to the resort , which includes internet and cable and is complimentary for this position!
Primary responsibilities include: Inspecting, adjusting, and performing preventive maintenance to pool machinery and equipment including pumps, filtration equipment, and related equipment. Monitor pool water chemistry through testing of water samples; adjusting chemistry as needed to maintain standards.
General responsibilities include: Upkeep of the resort grounds (inside and outside), general maintenance of the building (painting, fixing things, etc.), and room calls (burnt out lights, toilets not flushing, etc.), and other duties as assigned.
Staff housing is only 1.5 kilometres drive from the resort, or a 10 ? 15 minute walk taking a short-cut through our golf course. We have a small, close-knit community of about 50 employees that live in housing on the Island. If you like nature and the outdoors, this is a fantastic place to live! Our employees also get discounts on food at Seagull's, golf, and some sessions at our Salka Spa! We now have Starlink Internet for our staff housing!!!
