Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
About the Role
Quarry Hills Excavation & Gravel is one of Westman's fastest growing commercial heavy equipment contractors, specializing in gravel, sewer & waterworks, and earthworks. We take pride in providing efficient, reliable service and are currently looking to expand our team with an experienced and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator.
Requirements
- Experienced with the operation of various heavy-duty equipment, including excavators, front-end loaders, skid steers, and bulldozers.
- A valid Class 1 Driver's Licence is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks.
- Conduct pre-operational checks, including cleaning, lubricating and refilling as necessary.
- Adherence to safety policies and procedures and preparing necessary safety reports and documentation.
- Ensuring company equipment and materials are well-maintained, kept clean, and stored appropriately.
