Job Summary
Keystone Dental Centre is seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This posting is a term position to cover maternity leave with additional training overlap. Maternity leave is currently undecided at 1.5years.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Maxident software.
- Manage incoming calls, answer inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical records as necessary.
- Process patient payments and handle insurance claims efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operation of the office.
- Keep the reception area organized and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Maxident dental software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
Full Time Position. Monday ? Friday, 9am-5pm no evenings or weekends.
Start Date: March 2026
