Shur-Gro Farm Services is an independent agricultural input retailer. We supply crop nutrition and protection products as well as custom application and consulting services to our customers. We are seeking motivated, energetic and hard-working people for employment.
Key areas of Duties
? Operating Dry fertilizer spreader
? Assisting with crop input retail activities including fertilizer blending, crop protection and seed shipping and receiving, as well as on farm deliveries of the products, general yard work and other duties as assigned.
? Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment
Qualifications
? Ability to lift 25kg and work outdoors for extended periods at a time
? Must be able to keep paper work up to date and accurate.
? A person who is ambitious, self-motivated, dedicated and organized individual with excellent customer service and strong communication skills
? Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others and alone
? Experience operating farm or heavy duty equipment would be considered an asset
? Experience in agriculture is considered an asset but is not required
? A class 1 or 3 with air endorsement is preferred but requires a minimum of a class 5 license.
