Flower and Garden Caretaker
The Town of Virden is seeking to employ a self-motivated individual with a keen interest and knowledge of flowers, shrubs, trees and landscaping to assist in its annual planting and seasonal maintenance of beautification projects within the community.
Duties include the designing, planting and caring for flowerbeds, planters and hanging baskets throughout town.
Preference will be given to individuals who have graduated from or are enrolled in a recognized green space management course. Individuals with similar experience and training are encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license.
This position will run from May to September, and this posting will remain open until filled.
