Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, the Legacy Systems Lead is responsible for maintenance and support of all information technology applications for Insurance Legacy systems.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary education in Computer Science and experience in Application Development or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, may be considered.
- Experience working on an IBM I (AS/400) including IBMI I commands (CL).
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining COBOL code.
- Experience working with SQL, ideally within DB2 for iSeries.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to supervise staff.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with X-Analysis, is considered an asset.
- Experience with IBM i remote journaling, is considered an asset.
- Experience producing clear technical documentation of legacy code and system behaviour to support modernization efforts, is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices, is considered an asset.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Must possess a valid drivers licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
SALARY: $84,825 to $113,857 per annum
