Position Overview
We are currently hiring Railway Equipment Operators and Class 3 Drivers to support our railway and construction operations. Successful candidates will be responsible for safely operating equipment and vehicles while maintaining high productivity standards on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Railway Equipment Operators
- Operate railway and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow site plans, safety protocols, and supervisor instructions
- Work alongside crew members to complete projects on schedule
Class 3 Drivers
- Operate Class 3 vehicles for material transport and site support
- Load, secure, and deliver materials safely
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Assist with general labor duties when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver?s license (required for driver position)
- Previous experience in railway operations or heavy equipment operation is an asset
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Physically fit and capable of manual labor
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Railway certifications or track safety training
- Experience with heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, tampers, etc.)
- First Aid certification
- Ability to travel or work flexible hours
