Tender for Property Clean-Up Services
The Rural Municipality of Argyle is accepting sealed tenders from qualified contractors for the removal and disposal of accumulated debris, refuse, and other materials from properties within the municipality. All work will be done in accordance with Municipal By-Law No. 05-2015 respecting unsightly and unsafe properties.
Scope of Work
Work may include, but is not limited to:
- Garbage Removal: Removal and disposal of garbage and general debris.
- Large Items: Removal of discarded household items, mattresses, furniture, and similar materials.
- Yard Clean-Up: General property and yard clean-up.
- Disposal: Hauling and disposal at an approved waste disposal site.
Note: The Municipality reserves the right to assign one or multiple properties to the successful contractor(s). Property locations and scope of work details will be provided directly to shortlisted or successful bidders.
Contractor Requirements
Contractors must provide the following with their submission:
- Insurance: Proof of liability insurance.
- Safety: Applicable safety certifications and WCB coverage.
- Pricing: Proposed rates including equipment rates. (If mileage and equipment mobilization are to be charged, please add that to the quote).
- Timeline: Availability and estimated response timeline.
Deadline and Terms
- Closing Date: No later than 4:00 p.m. on June 19, 2026.
- Right to Reject: The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and is not obligated to accept the lowest tender.
