We are seeking a detail-oriented Window and Door Installer to install, replace, and service a variety of window and door types. The ideal candidate has experience in carpentry and can work independently, ensuring the job is completed safely, efficiently, and to our standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install windows and doors according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Remove and properly dispose of old windows and doors.
- Seal, caulk, and weatherproof installations.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Inspect finished work to ensure proper function and aesthetics.
- Professionally communicate with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Effectively train and oversee assistants.
Requirements:
- Experience in window and door installations is required.
- Experience with flooring installations is considered an asset.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
While you may not have experience in a full-time installation role, candidates with a related construction background and a strong desire to learn will be considered. Training will be provided to successfully set you up for this role.
