Job Duties
- Demonstrates accuracy and pays attention to detail
- Displays professionalism, by following the Keystone Code of Ethics. Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
- Observes health, safety, and security, by following safety standards and policies, and reports unsafe conditions or infractions
- Act as an Ambassador of the Keystone Centre by placing the satisfaction of the customer first and by assisting the public in a courteous and helpful manner at all times
- Inspires and motivates others by displaying team work
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook*
- Follow all service and operational standards, policies and procedures consistently
- Report any Human Resource issues or breaches in operational rules and regulations to the Operations Manager
- Be accessible to other departments, clients and managers
- Answer radio courteously and promptly
- Perform and assist in the completion of all setups and cleanups for events as required
- Complete setup for livestock/horse shows
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the Keystone Centre for all departments
- Perform cleaning duties as required outside on the Keystone Centre property
- Prepare and setup meeting rooms for meetings, parties, or various other activities and cleanups afterwards
- Perform operation of power equipment and tools
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labour
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Submit an acceptable Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Certification
- Fork Lift Operators Certificate required (will train suitable candidate)
- Able to work outside in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to problem solve with effective solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate and complete documentations
- Strong customer service skills and efficiency
- Able to work 12-hour shifts and/or nights and weekends
Working Conditions
- Safety equipment required for many tasks
- Complete work duties indoors and outdoors
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds
