They are currently down 4-3 after 2 vs. Saskatoon, and after losing last night, this almost becomes a must win game if they want to catch Lethbridge. They don't want to lose both of their games in hand.

still enough games to go where its not "must win". Heck it might be decided on the last game of the season. I could care less if we get 1st overall. 5-4 Wheatkings!

How come the strange start time? According to the WHL summary the attendance is 10275.

Also, they aren't chasing Lethbridge for 1st overall, that is another level all together! They are now 2 points back with even games played. It isn't the end of the world, but 3 points out of the last 2 games would have put them in a much better position than just the single point.

It's part of a School scheme, there were over 8,000 school kids there. Hence it was played during the day.

Last night helped - WK win: and Regina stole a point from Leth. 1 point back with a head to head match up on Friday!!

First place aside, it will be interesting to see how the WK match up against a real good team in Lethbridge. They have to take care of their own end first - good game from Papirny: accurate, quick 1st passes out of the zone: then the offense will take over from there.

Thoughts? Predictions?

Hopefully the Wheaties bring their best game: they've been somewhat inconsistent lately. Lethbridge has been a bit vulnerable lately too, as 2 of their best players are out with injuries.

You can buy a game or a package, then stream it onto your tv. We do this for most away games, some times the quality is not great, depends where game is.

Another great weekend for the boys! Their magic number to clinch the conference is down to 1 point. It doesn't look like they will catch Victoria for 1st overall, but can possibly hold off Kelowna for 2nd.

First round will be against Edmonton or Medicine Hat. Oil Kings can do themselves a big favour with a win tonight. Both of those teams finish up with difficult opponents after tonight.... Edmonton vs Red Deer twice and Medicine Hat vs Lethbridge twice.

Edmonton would be a tough first round opponent. They always play Brandon hard.
